Very nice restaurant on the Altmühlsee. The food is excellent and the view over the lake is a dream.

Was there 2 years ago. The food was bad, thanks to the new owner and staff, the boathouse can only be recommended. great go on

Was very pleasant stay. The ice cream served creatively is particularly delicious.

Restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. The apple strudel was nicely decorated and tasted delicious. With the cappuccino, however, the cup was only half full with foam. I guess one cup was split between two.

Here someone knew how to pamper his guests, conjuring up delicious food on the plate by a man who understands and loves his craft. Great team, great service, attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the boathouse in every respect.

Very nice restaurant with a wonderful panorama over the lake. We had the honor of tasting the new and revised menu. And it was just amazing. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. All in all we had a great evening and will definitely be back.

Very nice waitresses. They have found their purpose. And the sunset at the lake is definitely worth seeing!

Disaster! We were there with 6 people to eat and had reserved by phone. After we asked the waitress about the reservation, they said that we should just sit down where there was space. The food was neither particularly good nor bad. The real hammer was when the waitress came to our table and said we shouldn't get up because her wallet was gone ... Insolence! ... and she didn't even apologize when I showed her that she had her wallet at a neighboring table left lying ...

We had high hopes for the new tenant, but were very disappointed. Hygiene in view of Corona is completely inadequate. Tables are often not cleaned. Several guest cards were lying around on the floor. Iced coffee was delivered without a saucer to place the spoon. We cannot recommend the restaurant. (Visit on 07/26/20)

The food tasted very good. The hygiene concept is implemented professionally. The staff was very friendly.

Since the new tenants in the "Beach View" now named, the local gastronomy has been upgraded. It is the gateway to the Altmühlsee and accordingly important for Gunzenhausen and the lake.

So I think this restaurant is very great, especially in summer because you can sit very well on the terrace and have a great view of the lake. The food and drinks on offer are all very good and also acceptable for the region. The sanitary facilities in the restaurant and outside are very clean. The staff is also friendly even when the restaurant is really full. Gladly again.

Very unfriendly and waiting time of 1 hour for a portion fries

No fuss, quite tasty fare at reasonable rates. As there were bus loads of tourists, we had a fairly long wait until our meals arrived. Lovely location on the banks of the lake. Fully wheelchair accessible. Go for the location and surroundings, not for the food. Lakeside walks in the evening hours are wonderfully relaxing.

The ice is good. But the waiting times are impossible. The coordination is not so good yet and that was really annoying. However, she has always responded nicely and somehow still tries to do the best.

Delicious! Fast service and fair prices! Compared to the surrounding local more down to earth and more for families. Nice view of the water!

The last day I was there I needed to wait 1 hour for my dinner. We were 5 people and only 4 we received our dish. At the end my dinner was totally cold.

Great sea restaurant with great cuisine and good service. We went there twice on our vacation.
